Alaska Federation of Natives' Conference guide and agenda: The Federal Government said the State was in compliance with ANILCA after the Boards of Fisheries and Game adopted regulations creating a rural subsistence priority.

Taylor Brelsford: "Proposition #7 on the November ballot sought to overturn the subsistence law by citizens initiative. A contentious campaign ended in defeat of the proposition."
