Subsistence users expressed fear that state and federal hunts could conflict, and that the state's hunts could thwart the ANILCA-mandated subsistence priority on federal lands.

Sealaska Native Corporation:

Urged extension of federal jurisdiction to the state marine waters, as well as to selected but not conveyed lands.
