Amy Jones, November 1978, Fishing for Tomcods and Smelt, Kotzebue, Alaska.

It looks like Aana Amy is having lots of fun hooking (ice fishing). She is wearing tuttulik (soft bottom mukluks) to keep her warm while fishing in the Kotzebue Sound. Aana Amy is holding an ammun (straight stick for hitting fish) and is sitting on a qaatchiaq (caribou skin mattress) for warmth.
