This book is based on the traditional knowledge of David Umigluk Frankson and his wife Dinah Aviq Frankson, and was written by Tupou L. Qipuk Pulu, Ruth Tatqavin Ramoth-Sampson, and Angeline Ipiixik Newlin.

Illustrations are by Dennis Remick, and J. Leslie Boffa, cover by Simon Koonook.
